From the entrance of Juniper Springs, follow Juniper Springs Road (Forest Road 40) eastward for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 19. Turn left onto County Road 19 and continue for about 1 mile. Look for signs leading to the Juniper Prairie Wilderness; you will follow the signs directing you into the wilderness area where you can find various trailheads.

If using public transportation, take a bus to the nearest major town like Ocala, FL. From there, you will need to rent a car to reach Juniper Prairie Wilderness. Drive from Ocala by taking US-27 North for about 20 miles, then merge onto FL-40 East. Continue on FL-40 East until you reach the intersection with County Road 19. Turn left and follow the directions as mentioned above to reach the wilderness area.
