If you are near downtown Ocala, you can catch the Ocala Public Transit bus route 1 towards Silver Springs. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and stay on until you reach the Silver Springs stop. From there, Silver Springs State Park is just a short 5-minute walk down E Silver Springs Blvd. Head east on E Silver Springs Blvd, and you will find the entrance to the park on your left.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ocala. Start from the Ocala downtown area and head east on E Silver Springs Blvd. The ride is approximately 5 miles and will take you about 30 minutes. Follow the bike lanes and stay to the right. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the entrance to Silver Springs State Park.

If you are close to the center of Ocala, you can walk to Silver Springs State Park. Head east on E Fort King St until you reach NE 36th Ave. Turn left on NE 36th Ave and continue until you reach E Silver Springs Blvd. Turn right on E Silver Springs Blvd and keep walking until you see the entrance to Silver Springs State Park on your left. The total walking distance is about 4 miles and will take roughly 1.5 hours.
