Public Bus
If you're in downtown Orlando, head to the Lynx Central Station located at 201 S Garland Ave. Take Lynx bus number 50 towards the Winter Park Village. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at New England Ave and the intersection with Park Ave. From there, walk west on New England Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach the Winter Park History Museum at 200 W New England Ave.
Trolley
You can take the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour trolley, which starts from the Winter Park Village. If you’re in downtown Orlando, take a Lynx bus or rideshare to Winter Park Village. Once there, board the trolley that operates around the area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Winter Park History Museum stop on New England Ave. The ride is scenic and takes roughly 15 minutes. After getting off, walk a short distance west to the museum.
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)
Using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft is a convenient option. Open the app and set your pickup location to wherever you are in Orlando. Enter '200 W New England Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789' as your destination. The drive will typically take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Your driver will drop you off right in front of the Winter Park History Museum.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Orlando or Winter Park. After renting, head north on Park Ave towards New England Ave. Once you reach New England Ave, turn left and continue cycling until you reach the Winter Park History Museum at 200 W New England Ave. The ride is approximately 5 miles and should take about 20-30 minutes.
