If you're driving from anywhere in Pensacola Beach, begin by heading west on Via de Luna Dr. Continue until you reach the intersection with Fort Pickens Rd. Turn left onto Fort Pickens Rd and follow it until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto Sorrento Rd and continue for about 6 miles. Merge onto I-10 E towards Tallahassee and continue for approximately 7 miles. Take the exit for US-29 N and follow signs for Pensacola. Once in Pensacola, take the exit for Cervantes St and follow Cervantes until you reach N Palafox St. Turn left onto N Palafox St, and Fort George will be on your right at 501 N Palafox St. Parking is available on the street and nearby lots, possibly incurring a small fee.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start by taking the Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) Route 61 from Pensacola Beach. This route will take you to downtown Pensacola. You can catch the bus at various stops along the beach. Once you arrive in downtown Pensacola, get off at the stop closest to Palafox St. Walk north on Palafox St for about 10 minutes. Fort George will be located at 501 N Palafox St. Be sure to check the ECAT schedule for any potential fares and timing as they may vary.
Bike

Start from any point in Pensacola Beach and head west on Via de Luna Dr. You can then follow the same route as if you were driving, using bike-friendly paths where available.
