If you are driving from central Ponce Inlet, start by heading north on S Atlantic Ave (FL-421). Continue on S Atlantic Ave for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with County Rd 3 N. Turn left onto County Rd 3 N and continue for about 1 mile. You will see the entrance to Monkey Island Trail on your right. There is parking available nearby.

Using public transportation, you'll need to first take the Votran bus service from Ponce Inlet to De Leon Springs. Board the Votran bus at the nearest stop on S Atlantic Ave and request to get off at the De Leon Springs stop. From the bus stop, it is about a 20-minute walk to Monkey Island Trail. Head north on County Rd 3 N, and you will see the trail entrance on your right.
