If you are driving from Sarasota Beaches, take US-41 South (Tamiami Trail) towards Venice. Continue on US-41 for about 15 miles. Look for the signs for Myakka River State Park. Turn left onto Myakka River State Park Road (CR 780). After about 2 miles, you will reach the entrance to Myakka River State Park. There is a vehicle entrance fee of $6 for a single occupant vehicle or $8 for a vehicle with 2-8 occupants, so be prepared to pay this at the entrance. Once inside the park, follow the road signs to the Canopy Walkway and Observation Tower, which are located approximately 10 minutes from the entrance.
