Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading north on US-41 from any location in Sarasota Beaches. Continue on US-41 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with University Parkway. Turn left onto University Parkway and drive for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see Nathan Benderson Park on your left, at 5851 Nathan Benderson Cir. There is ample parking available at the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees, especially during events.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) Bus Route 6, which runs frequently throughout the area. Board the bus heading towards the University Town Center. Once you reach the stop at University Parkway and Cattlemen Road, disembark and walk east along University Parkway for about 0.5 miles. Nathan Benderson Park will be on your right at 5851 Nathan Benderson Cir. Be sure to check the SCAT schedule for the latest timings.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle to Nathan Benderson Park, you can take advantage of the bike lanes available on University Parkway. Begin your ride on US-41 and head north until you reach University Parkway. Turn left and continue on the designated bike lanes for about 1.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your left. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws.
