If you are starting from downtown Sarasota, head east on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Palm Avenue. Turn left onto Palm Avenue and continue for approximately 0.2 miles. You will see the Avenue of Art located on the left side, just before you reach Laurel Park.

From downtown Sarasota, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Main Street and Lemon Avenue. Board the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus route 99, which will take you towards the Laurel Park area. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop nearest to Laurel Park. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Avenue of Art, following the signs or asking locals for directions.
