If you are starting from downtown Sarasota, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) Route 99 bus towards the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'Tamiami Trail & Center Rd.' From there, walk north on Tamiami Trail for about 0.3 miles. Historic Spanish Point will be on your left at 401 N Tamiami Trail.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Sarasota. Head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Tamiami Trail (US-41). Turn left onto Tamiami Trail and continue for about 4 miles. Historic Spanish Point will be on your right at 401 N Tamiami Trail. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.

If you are close to Osprey or nearby areas, you can walk to Historic Spanish Point. From the Osprey Junction Park, head north on Tamiami Trail. It is about a 1.5-mile walk, which will take around 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Historic Spanish Point sign on your left side as you approach 401 N Tamiami Trail.
