Getting There

• Bicycle

  Start at the Sarasota Bayfront Park located at 1500 Ken Thompson Pkwy. From there, head east on Ken Thompson Parkway towards the Ringling Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto John Ringling Causeway. Follow the road as it curves and leads you directly to Lido Key. Look for signs directing you to the beaches and parks once you arrive on Lido Key.

• Public Bus

  Take the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) Bus Route 4 from downtown Sarasota. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location, and make sure it is heading towards Lido Key. The bus will take you along Tamiami Trail (US-41), where you can enjoy views as you travel. Get off at the stop closest to Lido Key Beach. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Lido Key's attractions.

  If you are near the Sarasota Bayfront Park, you can walk to Lido Key. Head east on Ken Thompson Parkway, then walk across the Ringling Bridge. Once you cross, continue on the path that leads to John Ringling Causeway. Follow the road until you reach Lido Key. It’s about a 2-mile walk, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

  Using a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft, request a ride to Lido Key. Input 'Lido Key' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your location in Sarasota and take you directly to Lido Key. Ensure you're clear on the drop-off point, as there are various beaches and parks on Lido Key.
