Public Transit - Bus
If you are in Sarasota, you can take the SCAT bus to get to St. Petersburg. Board the Route 99 bus towards the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Once you arrive at the airport, transfer to the Route 300 bus towards St. Petersburg. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 4th St N & 1st Ave N. From there, it's a short walk. Head east on 1st Ave N for one block until you reach Mirror Lake Dr N, then turn left. The park will be on your right.

Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Sarasota. Once you have a bike, head towards the Legacy Trail, which connects to the Pinellas Trail. Follow the Pinellas Trail north towards St. Petersburg. When you reach downtown St. Petersburg, follow the signs to Mirror Lake Park, which is located at Mirror Lake Dr N. The ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your speed.

If you are near the waterfront in downtown Sarasota, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head west towards the Ringling Bridge and cross over to the mainland. Continue walking north along the waterfront until you reach 5th Ave N. Turn left on 5th Ave N and continue until you reach Mirror Lake Dr N. Turn right and you'll find the park right there. This walk could take around 1.5 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
