Walking
If you are in downtown Sarasota, start at the Sarasota Bayfront Park. Head west towards the water, then follow the shoreline north along the Bayfront until you reach the intersection with John Ringling Blvd. Turn right onto John Ringling Blvd and continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. Here, take the exit onto Lido Key via the South Lido Park entrance. Continue walking on Benjamin Franklin Drive until you reach Taft Drive. Turn left onto Taft Drive, and Ted Sperling Park will be on your left.

Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Sarasota, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) routes. Take Route 4 (the Lido Key route) and ride until you reach the stop at the intersection of Taft Drive and Benjamin Franklin Drive. From there, walk south on Taft Drive for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Ted Sperling Park.

If you are renting a bike in Sarasota, start from the downtown area and head west towards the Sarasota Bayfront. Follow the paths along the bay, then make your way north to the John Ringling Bridge.
