Getting There

Car
If you're driving, get onto FL-528 E (the Beachline Expressway) from anywhere in the Space Coast area. Follow FL-528 E for about 12 miles. Take the exit for Merritt Island and merge onto N Courtenay Pkwy (FL-3). Continue on N Courtenay Pkwy for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with NASA Pkwy W. Turn left onto NASA Pkwy W, and after about 1 mile, the Space Shuttle Atlantis at 405 NASA Pkwy W will be on your right. Look for the large parking area available for visitors.

Public Transportation
For public transit, catch the Space Coast Area Transit bus route 9, which services areas around Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island. Board the bus towards Merritt Island, and get off at the NASA Parkway stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Space Shuttle Atlantis. Head west on NASA Pkwy W for about half a mile, and the attraction will be on your left.
