If you are driving, the Sands Space History Center is located at 100 Spaceport Way Building 90328, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. From anywhere in Space Coast, you can navigate to the location using GPS or online maps. For example, if you are coming from Cocoa Beach, take FL-528 W (the Beachline Expressway) towards Cape Canaveral. Continue on FL-528 W for about 14 miles. Take exit 49 toward Merritt Island, then merge onto N Courtenay Pkwy. Follow the signs for Cape Canaveral. Once you reach Cape Canaveral, turn right onto Spaceport Way. The center will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for parking.

For those using public transportation, the Space Coast Area Transit provides bus services throughout the region. You can catch Bus Route 9 (Cape Canaveral Shuttle) which will take you to the nearest stop to Sands Space History Center. Check the schedule online as it may vary, and plan your trip to ensure you arrive during operating hours. Once you get off at the nearest bus stop, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the center, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Be sure to check the fare as it typically costs $1.00 for a one-way trip.
