Getting There

• Car

  From St. Augustine Beach, head west on A1A South towards St. Augustine. Continue on A1A for approximately 5 miles. When you reach the intersection with State Road 16, turn left onto State Road 16. Follow State Road 16 until it merges with US-1 South. Continue on US-1 South for about 1.5 miles. Take a right onto King Street, and then make another right onto Aviles Street. The Spanish Military Hospital Museum will be on your left at 3 Aviles St. There is typically street parking available, but be aware that there may be meter fees.

Once you are in the Historic District, disembark at the stop closest to King Street. From there, you can walk to Aviles Street, which is just a few blocks away. Look for the Spanish Military Hospital Museum at 3 Aviles St. Be prepared to pay a bus fare, which is typically around $1.50 per ride.

  For a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle in St. Augustine Beach. Start by heading west on A1A South towards St. Augustine. Follow the bike lanes along A1A, and then take the same route as if you were driving, turning onto State Road 16 and then US-1 South. You can bike along King Street until you reach Aviles Street.
