From St. Augustine Beach, head west on A1A South towards St. Augustine. Continue on A1A for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 North. After about 2 miles, take the exit towards State Road 16. Follow State Road 16 until you reach the historic district of St. Augustine. Turn left onto St. Francis Street. The Gonzalez-Alvarez House will be on your right at 14 St. Francis St. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee during peak hours.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the St. Augustine Beach Trolley. Board the trolley at any designated stop in St. Augustine Beach. The trolley runs frequently, and you can purchase a one-way ticket for approximately $1.50. Ride the trolley until you reach the Historic Downtown area. Disembark at the stop closest to St. Francis Street. Walk east along St. Francis Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Gonzalez-Alvarez House located at 14 St. Francis St.
