Public Bus
To reach St. Augustine Wild Reserve using public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus stop for the Sunshine Bus Company. You can board the Route 5 bus towards St. Augustine Beach. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at the intersection of S Ponce De Leon Blvd and Lewis Blvd. From there, you will need to transfer to Route 3. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Lewis Blvd and wait for the Route 3 bus heading towards the St. Augustine area. After boarding, stay on the bus until you reach the Farm Creek Rd stop. Disembark, and from there, it's a short walk to the Wild Reserve located at 5190 Farm Creek Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bicycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown St. Augustine. Start by biking north on San Marco Ave until you reach the intersection with State Road 16. Turn left onto State Road 16 and continue for about 4 miles. After crossing the intersection with US-1, continue straight until you see Farm Creek Rd on your right. Turn onto Farm Creek Rd and follow it until you reach St. Augustine Wild Reserve at 5190 Farm Creek Rd. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.
Walking
If you wish to walk to St. Augustine Wild Reserve, start in the historic downtown area. Head east on King St until you reach the intersection with US-1. Cross US-1 and continue on to State Road 16. Walk along State Road 16 for approximately 4 miles. You will pass by several shops and eateries, so you can take a break if needed. After reaching the intersection with Farm Creek Rd, turn right and walk along Farm Creek Rd until you arrive at St. Augustine Wild Reserve, located at 5190 Farm Creek Rd. This route may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and comfortable walking shoes.
