As you approach, you will pass through a few traffic lights. John’s Pass will be on your right, and you will see a large parking area nearby. Parking may incur a fee, typically around $2-$3 per hour, so be prepared to pay.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus. Bus Route 18 runs from St. Petersburg Beach to Madeira Beach. Check the PSTA schedule for the latest times, as buses run every 30 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the Madeira Beach stop, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to John's Pass. Head north on Gulf Blvd, and you will see signs directing you to the pass. The bus fare is approximately $2 per ride.
