Public Bus
If you're starting from downtown St. Petersburg, head to the nearest bus stop on 1st Ave N. Catch the PSTA Route 18 bus towards Clearwater. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. The bus will take you across the bridge and directly to Clearwater. Get off at the Clearwater Beach stop. From there, walk towards Pier 60, which is just a short 10-minute stroll down the beach. You’ll see the Pier and its iconic sign as you approach.
Trolley
From downtown St. Petersburg, you can also take the Beach Trolley. Head to the nearest trolley stop on 1st Ave N. Board the trolley heading towards Clearwater Beach. The ride takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Clearwater Beach, you'll need to walk towards Pier 60, which is located at the end of the beach. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the trolley stop.
Ride Share
If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride from your current location in St. Petersburg to Pier 60, Clearwater, FL 33767. The ride typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to specify 'Pier 60' as your destination to ensure the driver knows where to take you.
Bicycle
For a more active option, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in St. Petersburg. Head towards the Pinellas Trail that runs along the coast. Follow the trail towards Clearwater Beach, which will take you about an hour. Once you reach Clearwater Beach, ride towards Pier 60. There are bike racks available near the pier where you can lock your bike.
