    Getting There

    Bus

    From downtown St. Petersburg, find the nearest bus stop for the PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority). Take Route 30 towards Sarasota. The bus will take you across the Pinellas County line into Sarasota. After approximately an hour, get off at the stop nearest to 1st St and North Lemon Ave. From there, walk north on Lemon Ave for about 3 blocks until you reach 1st St. Turn right onto 1st St, and the Selby Library will be on your left at 1331 1st St.

    Bike

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown St. Petersburg. Head south on 1st Ave N until you reach 4th St N, then take a left. Continue on 4th St N until you reach the US-19, where you can connect to the Legacy Trail. Follow the trail south towards Sarasota. Once you reach Sarasota, follow the signs to downtown, and make your way to 1st St. The Selby Library will be located at 1331 1st St.

    Trolley

    Take the Downtown St. Petersburg Trolley from any of the trolley stops in downtown. Ride towards the St. Pete Beach route but get off at the last stop before the beach. Transfer to a southbound bus on the PSTA Route 30 towards Sarasota. After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the stop closest to 1st St and North Lemon Ave. Walk north on Lemon Ave, then turn right onto 1st St to reach the Selby Library.

However, if you prefer a longer walk, you can head south to the waterfront and follow the scenic paths along the bay. After about a 2-hour walk, you will reach Sarasota.
