Public Bus
To get to Treasure Island from downtown St. Petersburg, head to the nearest bus stop on 1st Avenue North (look for stops near Williams Park). Board the PSTA bus number 18 (Tampa Bay Area Transit). This bus will take you towards the beach, passing through various neighborhoods. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Gulf Boulevard and Treasure Island (approximately a 30-minute ride). From there, walk west towards the beach, and you will arrive at Treasure Island Beach in a few minutes.

You can catch the Beach Trolley from downtown St. Petersburg by heading to the nearest Trolley stop on 1st Avenue North. Board the Trolley heading towards the beach, which will take you along the scenic route. Get off at the Treasure Island stop (the Trolley runs frequently, so you won’t have to wait long). Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the beach, and you'll find yourself at Treasure Island.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops downtown. Head west on 1st Avenue North until you reach the waterfront, then follow the scenic waterfront bike path along the coast. Continue on the trail until you reach Treasure Island. For those who enjoy walking, you can start from downtown St. Petersburg and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the Bayfront area, then take the sidewalk along the beach towards Treasure Island.
