    Walking

    If you are in downtown Stuart, head east on East Ocean Boulevard until you reach the intersection with US-1. Turn left onto US-1 North and continue walking for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Northlake Boulevard. Cross US-1 at the traffic light and continue walking north on Northlake Boulevard for about 1.5 miles. At the next major intersection, turn right onto Jack Nicklaus Drive. Continue walking until you see the entrance to John D. MacArthur Beach State Park on your left.

    Public Transit

    From downtown Stuart, you can take the local bus service. Locate the nearest bus stop along East Ocean Boulevard and catch the Route 1 bus heading north. Stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes until you reach the stop at Northlake Boulevard. From there, transfer to Route 2, which will take you directly to Jack Nicklaus Drive. Get off at the stop nearest to the park entrance. Walk a short distance to the entrance of John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.

    If you have access to a bike, start in downtown Stuart and head east on East Ocean Boulevard. Continue until you reach US-1, where you will turn left. Follow US-1 North for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Northlake Boulevard. Turn right onto Northlake Boulevard and bike for approximately 1.5 miles. When you reach Jack Nicklaus Drive, turn right and the entrance to John D. MacArthur Beach State Park will be on your left.
