Board the bus heading to the Port St. Lucie area. Check the bus schedule for routes that go towards SE Westmoreland Blvd. You may need to transfer at a central hub, such as the Route 1 bus line, which travels north to Port St. Lucie. Once you arrive in Port St. Lucie, ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach SE Westmoreland Blvd. The Botanical Gardens will be a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stuart. Start by heading west on SE Ocean Blvd towards SE Federal Hwy (US-1). Follow SE Federal Hwy north until you reach the intersection with SE Port St. Lucie Blvd. Turn left onto SE Port St. Lucie Blvd and continue until you reach SE Westmoreland Blvd. Turn right on SE Westmoreland Blvd, and the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens will be on your right. Please ensure you're wearing a helmet and following all road safety rules.
Walking
For a more leisurely approach, you can walk from central Stuart to the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. Start at the Martin County Courthouse and head west along SE Ocean Blvd. Continue onto SE Federal Hwy (US-1) and walk north. After about 2 miles, turn left onto SE Port St. Lucie Blvd. Walk straight until you reach SE Westmoreland Blvd, then turn right. The Botanical Gardens will be about a half-mile down the road on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
