    Car

    If you are driving, start by heading south on US-41 (Tamiami Trail) from any location in Sun Coast. Follow signs for I-75 South towards Naples. Merge onto I-75 S and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 246 for US-301 South towards Riverview/Apollo Beach. Continue on US-301 for about 7 miles, then turn left onto Big Bend Road. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Surfside Boulevard. Apollo Beach Preserve will be on your left at 6760 Surfside Blvd.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, begin at the nearest bus stop serviced by Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART). Take the Bus Route 34 towards the Southshore area. You will need to transfer at the Southshore Transit Center to Bus Route 100, which travels towards Apollo Beach. Get off at the closest stop to Surfside Boulevard. From there, it’s a short walk of about 0.5 miles to Apollo Beach Preserve located at 6760 Surfside Blvd. Please check the HART website for the latest schedules and fare information, as there may be a small fee for bus rides.
