Walking
From the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, a popular tourist hub, the Safford House Museum is approximately a 20-25 minute walk. Head east on Dodecanese Boulevard, then turn right onto Pinellas Avenue. Continue south on Pinellas Avenue until you reach Tarpon Avenue. Turn left onto Tarpon Avenue, heading east, and then turn right onto Spring Boulevard. At the stop sign, proceed straight through the intersection. Make a left on Parkin Court (two blocks north). The Safford House is at the end of the street. This is a straightforward walk through the heart of Tarpon Springs, allowing you to see other local attractions along the way.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from the Sponge Docks to the Safford House Museum is a quick and convenient option, typically costing between $8 and $12. The journey takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Simply provide the driver with the address, 23 Parkin Court, and they will take the most efficient route.
