Walking
From the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, walk north along the Tampa Riverwalk, following the Hillsborough River. Water Works Park will be on your left, approximately a 10-15 minute walk. This scenic route offers views of the river and downtown Tampa.
Public Transport
Take the HART bus to the Tampa St @ 7th Ave stop, which is about a 5-minute walk to Water Works Park. From the bus stop, walk north on N Tampa St, then turn left onto W 7th Ave, and finally turn right onto N Highland Ave. Water Works Park will be on your right. A one-way fare on HART buses is $2.00.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Request a taxi or ride-share (Uber/Lyft) to 1701 N Highland Ave, Tampa, FL 33602. The drop-off point is directly at Water Works Park. Expect to pay around $8-$12 for a ride from downtown Tampa, depending on traffic.
Driving
From I-275, take Exit 45A for N Ashley Dr. Head north on N Ashley Dr, then turn right onto W 7th Ave, followed by a right onto N Highland Ave. Water Works Park will be on your right. Limited street parking is available around the park. Parking costs vary, but expect to pay around $1-$2 per hour at nearby lots. Free street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
