The walk from most points within Riverside Park to the island is short, typically no more than 5-10 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking to the island.

GoLine, the Indian River County public transportation system, has several routes that stop near Riverside Park. Check the GoLine route map and schedules to find the closest stop to the park's entrance. From the bus stop, follow the sidewalk into Riverside Park and proceed towards the island via the paved path and pedestrian bridge. GoLine is free to ride. Remember to check the GoLine schedule as the service operates weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
