Public Transport
From Rond-Point du Prado metro station (Line 2), take bus number 22 towards Les Baumettes. Alight at the terminus (Les Baumettes). From there, it's approximately a 45-minute to 1-hour walk to Calanque de Sormiou. Follow the signs towards the calanque. Be prepared for a downhill walk, meaning an uphill return. No costs are associated with this guidance, assuming you already have a valid Marseille public transport ticket (€1.60 for a single ticket).

Driving
Driving to Calanque de Sormiou is possible, but heavily regulated, especially during peak season (weekends, holidays, and daily from July 1st to August 31st, between 7 AM and 7 PM). Check current access restrictions before you go. If driving is permitted, follow the 'Chemin de Sormiou' from Marseilleveyre. Be aware that the road is narrow and winding. Parking is available at a parking lot near the beach for €6 per day. However, access by car is restricted to residents during peak times. During restricted periods, you can park behind the DFCI barrier on the Sormiou road and walk approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the calanque.

Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-sharing service (Uber, Bolt) can take you to the Baumettes area, the closest point accessible by car when road restrictions are in place. From there, you'll need to walk the remaining distance (approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour) to the calanque. A taxi/ride-share from central Marseille to Les Baumettes will cost approximately €20-€30, depending on traffic and time of day.
