From Aix-en-Provence, head to the Aix-en-Provence TGV station. You can take a local bus (Line 40) from the city center to get there. At the TGV station, purchase a ticket to Lourmarin. The train journey should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lourmarin station, exit and walk towards the village center, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs to Château de Lourmarin, which will be at 2 Av. Laurent Vibert.

From Aix-en-Provence, take the bus Line 201 from the main bus station (Gare Routière). The bus departs approximately every hour and takes about 50 minutes to reach Lourmarin. Make sure to get off at the Lourmarin stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Château de Lourmarin, located at 2 Av. Laurent Vibert. Follow the signs to the castle.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, rent a bicycle in Aix-en-Provence. Follow the D7N road towards Lourmarin. The distance is approximately 35 kilometers and should take around 2 hours. Be cautious of traffic, especially as you approach Lourmarin. Once you arrive, look for signs directing you to Château de Lourmarin at 2 Av. Laurent Vibert.

If you are feeling energetic and wish to walk, it’s about a 35-kilometer trek from Aix-en-Provence to Lourmarin. The walk will take approximately 8 hours. Start by heading towards the D7N road and follow the signs to Lourmarin. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this is a long journey. Upon arriving in Lourmarin, make your way to Château de Lourmarin at 2 Av. Laurent Vibert.
