Getting There

• Public Transport

  Start at the main bus station in Aix-en-Provence, known as 'Gare Routière'. From there, take the LER 14 bus towards Cadenet. The bus departs approximately every hour, so be sure to check the schedule ahead of time. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cadenet bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the Rue de la Royère. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Moulin à huile d'olive & Domaine Bastide du Laval located at 199 Chem. de la Royère. Look for signs to guide you along the way.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental shops in Aix-en-Provence. Start your journey at the Place de la Rotonde and head south towards the Avenue Victor Hugo. Follow this avenue which becomes D7N and ride towards the direction of Cadenet. The journey is approximately 12 kilometers and will take roughly 45-60 minutes depending on your cycling speed. You will pass through beautiful countryside, making it a scenic ride. Once you reach Cadenet, look for Rue de la Royère and follow it to your destination at 199 Chem. de la Royère.

• Walking

  Walking to Moulin à huile d'olive & Domaine Bastide du Laval from Aix-en-Provence is quite a trek, as it is about 12 kilometers away. If you are up for the challenge, begin your journey at the center of town, perhaps starting at the Cours Mirabeau. Walk out of town towards the southwest, following the signs for the D7N towards Cadenet. This route will take you through some lovely rural areas. Be prepared for a walk of about 2.5 to 3 hours, and make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Once you reach Cadenet, navigate to Rue de la Royère to find your destination at 199 Chem. de la Royère.
