Orientation is easy due to the city's well-signed streets and landmarks. Remember that the city center is mostly pedestrianized. Costs: Walking is free.

Public Transport

If starting from the Aix-en-Provence TGV station, take the L040 bus to the Gare Routière (bus station) in the city center. From there, most locations are walkable. The bus ride is approximately 23 minutes. Costs: Bus fare is approximately €3-€5. A single ticket on the Aix en Bus network is around €1.10.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available at the Aix-en-Provence TGV station and in the city center. A taxi from the TGV station to the city center will take approximately 16 minutes. Costs: The taxi fare from the Aix-en-Provence TGV station to the city center is approximately €35-€45. Within the city center, short taxi rides typically cost between €15-€25, depending on distance and traffic.

Parking

If driving, parking is available in several paid parking lots around the city center, including Parking Rotonde and Parking Carnot. Parking in the city center can be challenging, especially during peak season. Costs: Expect to pay around €20-€25 for 24 hours of parking in a central car park. Street parking is also available but limited, with the first hour costing around €2 in Zone 1.
