From Amiens city center, walk to the Amiens train station (Gare d'Amiens). Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Beaumont-Hamel. Trains to Beaumont-Hamel run regularly, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Beaumont-Hamel station, exit the station and head northeast on Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the D929. Turn left onto D929 and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the British 29th Division Monument on your right, located at the edge of the park.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Amiens, start at the Place Gambetta in the city center. Head northwest on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue de la Gare. Continue until you reach the train station and follow the earlier instructions from there. Alternatively, you can follow the same route as the train, walking along the D929. This route is approximately 12 kilometers and may take around 2.5 to 3 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

For those who are more adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Amiens. Head out of the city center towards the D929, which is cyclist-friendly. Follow the D929 towards Beaumont-Hamel. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon arrival, the British 29th Division Monument will be visible from the road, located near the park.
