Great activity for anybody interested in the history of First World War and specifically the bloody battles around Somme. Pick up from hotel in Paris two hours drive in a comfortable car. Great English speaking experienced driver,Dean , custom made visit in a vast area including battlefields, memorials, cemeteries , and museum plus a short visit to the city of Amiens and its cathedral. Overall very informative experience. Highly recommend

The cathedral is uphill not far from the river. Set in a square it has an abundance of ornate carvings outside. Inside it has high ceilings and side alters. Set in the heart of the lovely town of Rouen it is worth a visit.
