From the Angers Saint-Laud train station, the historic center is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head north along Boulevard de Strasbourg, then turn left onto Rue Saint-Aubin. Continue straight, passing the Jardin du Mail on your right, until you reach Place du Ralliement, a central square marking the entrance to the historic area. From there, follow the signs towards the Château d'Angers, a prominent landmark within the historic center.
Public Transport
From the Angers Saint-Laud train station, take tram line A or C towards the city center. Get off at the 'Ralliement' stop, which is located in the heart of the historic center. Tram tickets cost approximately €1.60 for a single journey. From the tram stop, the Château d'Angers is a short walk, following the signs.
Taxi/Ride-Share
