From the Angers-Saint-Laud train station, the Military Engineering Museum is approximately a 20-25 minute walk. Exit the station and head north towards the city center. Follow Boulevard du Maréchal Foch, a main thoroughfare, until you reach Place du Ralliement, the central square. Continue straight, following signs for the Château d'Angers. The museum is located near the Château, on Rue Eblé. Look for the signs indicating 'Musée du Génie'. Alternatively, from Place du Ralliement, you can follow Rue Saint-Aubin, which leads towards the Château. Rue Eblé will be on your left.
Public Transport
From the Angers-Saint-Laud train station, take tram line A or C towards the city center. Get off at the 'Ralliement' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Follow Rue Saint-Aubin towards the Château d'Angers, and Rue Eblé will be on your left. A single tram ticket costs approximately €1.60 and is valid for one hour. Tickets can be purchased at vending machines at the tram station or via contactless payment directly on the tram.
