Driving
From the center of Le Reposoir, follow the Route de la Chartreuse (D4) for approximately 2 km. The Chartreuse du Reposoir will be on your left. There is free parking available on site, including parking for coaches. During peak season, parking may be limited, so arrive early. Be aware that in winter, snow chains or winter tires may be required.

Public Transport
From Cluses train station, take the bus line Y81 towards Le Reposoir. The bus journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Alight at the 'Le Reposoir - Chartreuse' bus stop, which is directly in front of the monastery. Bus tickets cost around €3. The bus service is less frequent on Sundays and public holidays, so check the timetable in advance.

From the Le Reposoir village center, the Chartreuse is a pleasant 30-minute walk. Follow the Route de la Chartreuse (D4) out of the village. The road is well-signposted. Be aware that the road is uphill in places, so wear comfortable shoes. There is no sidewalk for the entire route, so be mindful of traffic.
