Walking
If you are starting from the center of Annecy, make your way to the main train station, Gare d'Annecy, located at 8 Avenue du Petit Port. Once you exit the station, head west on Avenue du Petit Port toward Rue de la Gare. Continue onto Rue de la Gare, which will lead you to Rue de Genève. Turn right onto Rue de Genève. After about 400 meters, you will reach the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Chambéry.
Public Bus
At the bus station, look for the bus service heading to Chambéry; you can take either line 7 or line 8. The journey will take about 1 hour. Make sure to buy your ticket before boarding the bus. The bus will take you directly to Chambéry's city center. Get off at the stop called 'Chambéry Gare'. When you arrive, exit the bus and walk towards the main road 'Allée du Colombier'. The Chateau de Boigne is located just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Allée du Colombier, and you will see the castle on your right.
Train
From the Gare d'Annecy, take a train to Chambéry-Chalons. You can find the train schedule at the station or online. The train ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Chambéry, follow the signs to exit the train station. From the train station, walk to the bus stop and take the same bus line 7 or 8 as mentioned earlier towards the city center, and get off at 'Chambéry Gare'. From there, follow the walking directions to reach the Chateau de Boigne.
