Public Transport
From Annecy, the most convenient way to reach Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard is by taking the Sibra line 20 bus. The bus departs from Parmelan station in Annecy and arrives at Chef Lieu Menthon in Menthon-Saint-Bernard. The journey takes approximately 22 minutes, and buses depart hourly. From the Chef Lieu Menthon bus stop, it's approximately a 25-minute uphill walk to the castle. A single bus fare is approximately €2.
Driving
If driving from Annecy, follow the D909A along the eastern shore of Lake Annecy towards Menthon-Saint-Bernard. The drive is approximately 10 km and takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Menthon-Saint-Bernard, follow signs to Allée du Château. There is parking available near the castle, but it can be limited, especially during peak season. Parking is free. Several parking lots are available, including Parking 1 du Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard on Chem. du Biollon.
