Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head east on Rue de la Gare towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight on Avenue de la République until you reach the junction with Rue du Mont-Blanc. Turn left onto Rue du Mont-Blanc and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Turn right onto Rue de la Paix and continue walking straight until you reach the old town (Vieille Ville) area. Once in the old town, follow the path along the canals and head towards the lake. From here, walk along the promenade towards the east side of Lake Annecy, which will lead you to the Jardin Anglais.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit and find the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus line 2 towards 'Cran-Gevrier' and get off at the stop 'Hotel de Ville'. From the bus stop, walk towards the lake (Lac d'Annecy) by following the signs to the promenade. Once at the promenade, turn left and walk along the lake until you reach the Jardin Anglais.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Annecy. Start from the city center and head towards the lake. There are dedicated bike paths along the lakefront. Follow the path that runs alongside the lake, heading east. This scenic route will take you directly to the Jardin Anglais, which is located along the lakeside.
