Walking
If you are starting from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head east on Rue de la Gare towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight on Avenue de la République until you reach the junction with Rue du Mont-Blanc. Turn left onto Rue du Mont-Blanc and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Turn right onto Rue de la Paix and continue walking straight until you reach the old town (Vieille Ville) area. Once in the old town, follow the path along the canals and head towards the lake.
