Walking
From the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head straight onto Rue de la Gare. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the historic old town. You will see the beautiful canals and charming buildings. Once you reach the Palais de l'Isle, turn left onto Rue Saint-Claude, and continue walking until you reach Rue de la République. Turn right on Rue de la République and follow this street until you reach the lake. Next, stroll along the shores of Lake Annecy towards the east for a picturesque walk, taking in the views. Continue walking until you reach the end of the lake, where you will find the entrance to Parc des Bastions.

From the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), take bus line 2 towards 'Cran-Gevrier'. Get off at the 'Cran-Gevrier' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 7 towards 'Veyrier du Lac'. Get off at the 'Les Bastions' stop. Follow the signs to Parc des Bastions which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
