Walking
From the center of Port-Sainte-Foy-et-Ponchapt, near the Église de Port-Sainte-Foy, walk along Rue de la République towards the Dordogne River. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto Promenade de la Batellerie. Continue along the promenade, following signs for Plage des Bardoulets. The beach is approximately a 15-minute walk from the town center, offering scenic views of the river. No costs are associated with walking.
Driving
From Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, cross the bridge into Port-Sainte-Foy-et-Ponchapt. Follow the D936, then turn onto Rue du Passeur. Continue on Rue du Passeur until you reach Plage des Bardoulets. Ample free parking is available near the beach. Be aware that parking can fill up quickly during peak season. There are no toll roads or bridges on this immediate approach. Parking is free.
