Sunny trip to the vineyards of Bordeaux

Really lovely tour of some interesting vineyards with Emmanuel. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were part of a group of 7 who were all really nice and the afternoon was a pleasant experience tasting red & white wines. The vineyard staff were all very informative and helpful. Happy to recommend.

A great way to learn a little about good Wines

We thoroughly enjoyed our vineyard visits and wine tasting experience organised by our guide Emanuel. He was there promptly to meet us at the arranged rendezvous at outside the Cite de Vin, and was able to comfortably load our group of 8 onboard his minibus. The trip to the first vineyard took about 40 minutes, but he was able to give us lots of information about the region and it's wines in both excellent English and French. Both of the Vineyards made us very welcome and were happy to tell us all about how they produce their Wines, before taking us through a well structured tasting process. There was an option to buy or order wine's from both places, but no undue pressure to purchase. Before taking us back to Bordeaux Emanuel took us to the beautiful little town of St Emillion where we were treated to Macaroons and got the chance to do a bit of shopping or get an ice-cream before he whisked us back to where we started off from in Bordeaux. Emanuel was very knowledgeable and pleasant to chat to. An excellent introduction to the delights of the French wine experience. Many thanks Emanuel 🍷☺️
