Walking
From the Place de la Bourse, walk southeast along Quai de la Monnaie. Turn left onto Rue des Faures, and continue straight. The Basilique Saint-Michel will be on your right, at Place Meynard. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From Gare de Bordeaux Saint-Jean, take tram line C towards Bègles Terres Neuves. Get off at the 'Sainte-Croix' stop. From there, walk along Rue des Armateurs, then turn right onto Place Duburg and continue onto Place Pierre Renaudel. Turn left onto Quai de la Monnaie, then turn right onto Rue des Faures. The Basilique Saint-Michel will be on your right, at Place Meynard. The total journey time is approximately 20 minutes. A single journey ticket costs €1.80.
Taxi
From the city center (e.g., Place de la Comédie), a taxi ride to the Basilique Saint-Michel typically takes 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxi stands are available, or you can use a ride-sharing app. The estimated fare is between €11 and €21.
