Walking
If you're starting from the Avignon Central Station (Gare d'Avignon-Centre), exit the station and head west on Rue de la République towards Place de l'Horloge. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the square. From Place de l'Horloge, turn right onto Rue des Écoles and follow it until you reach Rue de la Monnaie. Turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie and continue until you see the entrance to Palais des Papes on your right. Keep going straight until you find the steps leading up to the Jardin des Doms.

From the Avignon Central Station, take Bus Line 5 towards 'Les Angles - La Plume'. Get off at the stop 'Palais des Papes'. Once you disembark, walk towards the Palais des Papes, and follow the signs leading to Jardin des Doms. It’s a short walk uphill through the gardens.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Avignon. Start from the Avignon Central Station and head towards Rue de la République. Continue straight to Place de l'Horloge, then take Rue des Écoles to reach Palais des Papes. You can park your bike at the designated areas near the entrance of Jardin des Doms.
