Walking
The Musée Lapidaire is located in the heart of Avignon, on Rue de la République, the city's main street. From the Palais des Papes, walk south along Place du Palais, then continue onto Rue de la République. The museum will be on your left, approximately a 5-minute walk. From Avignon Centre train station, exit and walk straight ahead onto Cours Jean Jaurès, which becomes Rue de la République. The museum will be on your right, about a 10-minute walk. Orizo bus lines also serve stops along Rue de la République.
