Walking
From the Palais des Papes, walk towards the northern side of the square. Follow the flower-lined path or the Escalier Sainte-Anne (St Anne's Stairs) uphill. The entrance to the Jardin des Doms is at the top. The walk is moderately steep but short.

Public Transport
Take the Orizo bus to a stop near the Palais des Papes (Place Pie or Avignon Poste are central options). From there, walk towards the Palais and follow the walking directions. A single Orizo bus ticket costs €1.40.

Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Avignon Centre train station to the Palais des Papes area will cost approximately €10-€15. From there, follow the walking directions to the Jardin des Doms entrance.

Driving
Driving directly to the Jardin des Doms is not recommended due to limited parking. Park at Parking du Palais des Papes (€2.20 per hour) and walk a short distance to the garden entrance. Alternatively, use the free park-and-ride facilities outside the city walls (Parking de l'Ile Piot or Parking des Italiens) and take the shuttle bus to Porte de l'Oulle, a 5-minute walk from Place de l'Horloge and the Palais des Papes.
