From the Vevey train station (Vevey CFF/SBB), the Alimentarium is approximately a 15-minute walk. Exit the station and walk towards the lake. Follow the Quai Perdonnet along the lakefront, heading east. The museum will be on your left, easily identifiable by its neoclassical building and the large fork sculpture in the lake.

Public Transport
From the Vevey train station (Vevey CFF/SBB), you can take bus number 201 or 202 heading towards La Tour-de-Peilz/Montreux and get off at the 'Hôtel-de-Ville' stop. The Alimentarium is a short walk from the bus stop. A single ticket costs CHF 2-3.

A taxi or ride-share from the Vevey train station to the Alimentarium takes only a few minutes. Expect to pay around CHF 10-13 for the short trip.

If driving, take the A9 motorway (from Geneva or the Valais) or A12 (from Bern) and exit at Vevey. Follow signs for 'Vevey centre'. Parking is available at the Panorama underground car park or the Place du Marché, both within a 10-minute walk of the museum. Parking rates vary, but expect to pay around CHF 0.50-1.50 per hour.

Arriving by boat on Lake Geneva, disembark at the 'Vevey-La Tour' quay and walk westward (towards Lausanne) along the lakefront for about 4 minutes. Alternatively, disembark at the 'Vevey Marché' quay and walk eastward (towards Montreux) for about 10 minutes. The Alimentarium will be visible from either quay.
