La Cité du Vin is easily accessible via Bordeaux's efficient tram system. Take Tram Line B directly to the 'La Cité du Vin' stop, which is located right in front of the museum. A single tram ticket costs €2 and can be purchased at vending machines located at the tram stop. Alternatively, several bus lines (7, 25, 27) stop near La Cité du Vin. If you are in the city center, such as near the Quinconces Square, you can walk to La Cité du Vin. The walk is approximately 3.4 kilometers and takes around 30-40 minutes. Follow the Quai de Bacalan along the Garonne River for a scenic route. There are dedicated pedestrian paths along the river.

Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Bordeaux. A taxi ride from the city center (e.g., Quinconces Square) to La Cité du Vin typically takes around 4 minutes and costs approximately €8-€11. Keep in mind that prices may vary depending on traffic and time of day.

Boat
For a unique and scenic arrival, consider taking the Bat3 river shuttle. This ferry service operates on the Garonne River and has a stop at La Cité du Vin. You can board the Bat3 at various points along the river, including Stalingrad and Quinconces. A TBM tram ticket (€1.70) can be used, or a ticket can be purchased onboard for €3.

If you are driving, there is a paid Interparking La Cité du Vin located directly across from the museum. The entrance is on Rue de Gironde. This parking facility is open from 7 AM to 10 PM daily. There is a parking fee of €2.30 for 1 hour. There are also other public parking options available nearby, such as Hangar 19.
