Getting There

  • Bus

    From Bordeaux city center, head to the main bus station, Gare Saint-Jean, which can be reached via tram line C or by walking. At Gare Saint-Jean, look for the bus terminal. Take bus line 302 towards Saint-Émilion. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Saint-Laurent-des-Combes' which is close to the Château. From the bus stop, walk along Route du Tertre towards the Château, which is about a 15-minute walk.

  • Train and Bus

    Start your journey at Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station. Take a train towards Libourne; the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Libourne, exit the train station and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Board bus line 302 towards Saint-Émilion. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at 'Saint-Laurent-des-Combes' stop. From there, walk along Route du Tertre for approximately 15 minutes to reach Château de Candale.
