From Margaux station, it's approximately a 30-minute walk (2.8km) to the Château. Alternatively, take bus line 424 from Bordeaux (Pl. Ravezies) to 'Le Chateau' stop in Margaux-Cantenac. Buses run approximately every 4 hours and the journey takes around 1 hour 1 minute, costing approximately €3. From the bus stop, the Château is a short walk away.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Bordeaux to Château Margaux takes approximately 35 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between €55-€70 for the trip. This is the most direct option, offering door-to-door service.
Driving
If driving from Bordeaux, take the D2 route (Route des Vins) towards Margaux-Cantenac. The drive is approximately 35 minutes. Limited parking is available near the Château.
